Frank Thomas or 'The Big Hurt' as he is commonly known was a first basemen and designated hitter for the Chicago White Sox from 1990 until 2005 and retired with the Oakland Athletics in 2008. Thomas was a 5-time all star selection and 2-time AL MVP in 1993 and 1994.
In 2011 the Chicago White Sox retired Thomas' number 35 and in 2014 he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame
